Aer Arann (Ireland)

Aer Arann is a privately-held regional airline based at Dublin International Airport, Ireland. In the 1970`s Aer Arann began flying from Galway to the Arann Islands, providing an island-hopping air service from the mainland. In 1994 Padraig O`Ceidigh purchased Aer Arann and set about laying the groundwork for a feeder air service for Ireland and the UK. Aer Arann currently operates over 600 flights per week across 35 routes in Ireland, the UK and France it is one of the worlds fastest growing regional airlines, with a turnover in excess of €95 million per annum and annual passenger numbers of 1.15 million for 2005.
