Estonian Air is the national carrier of Estonia. It was established by the government in 1991 after the Estonian independence. In 1996 Estonian Air was partially privatized and is the majority shareholder is the Danish airline Maersk Air now Sterling Airlines. Its main hub is Tallin Airport; the airline serves international destinations in Europe with scheduled, charter and freight flights.
