Lion Air is an Indonesian low-cost airline based in Jakarta. Its first flight took off in 2000 and the succes of the company in the low-fares market increased rapidly. It serves a large number of destinations all across Indonesia and international routes to Malaysia and Singapore. Its aim is to expand its service throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
